As to Paul Potts - I simultaneously admire and feel sorry for him, victim in the first instance of an educational establishment not prepared to recognise and sponsor immense talent, and secondly a victim of the media who are now exploiting that same talent - he's going to lose out at the end whichever way you look at it. As soon as the media/recording companies/agents etc have creamed off their benefits from his success no one will want to know him and I'm pretty sure his talent will soon experience its limitations - voice training at his age would most probably ruin the wonderful voice he already possesses. Though I do now wonder if Placido Domingo would be a success selling phones :-) Best from the land of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and even Karl-Heinz Stockhausen Douglas Sonny Carter wrote: > On 10/8/07, Joseph <joelct@singnet.com.sg> wrote: > >> Bernard >> >> As a cellist I hope you share my love of Dvoraks's cello concerto by >> Pierre >> Fournier? >> > > > The correct response in this thread would be, " Bernard!
