Primarily for business shots, recording projects, fair amount of family stuff and some landscape photos. I have to say it's been a great little digicam. I really can't complain. For this reason I auditioned the G9. I really liked it. They didn't do a dumbed down G7 - and they went back to black in a slightly smaller body shell. Nice set of Manual Overrides, etc. Really nice display. It's on my short list to replace the G5 (it WILL die...they all do...). My two shillings/centavos/pennies/pfennig worth. But man, what a bad lens it has: never have seen so much distortion on the wide end, nor such a low DR sensor. Isn't worth its 390 EUR, 1 gig SD included.
