I think this is totally wrong and its my understanding that there have been
extended times that the R system supported the M system and that only
recently has the M line swung back.
The R8 and 9 are brilliant cameras.
Innovative.
Not boring.
I want one.
But need one which shoots digital film.
I think there will be one very very soon.
Like tomorrow.

There are categories of R glass.
Some made by Minolta. Not too noteworthy.
Some made by Sigma. Not too noteworthy.
Some made or designed by Schneider-Kreuznach.
Real mouth watering in my opinion.
And some made by Leica.
Usually very Leica like.
