Especially as 3,000 of them probably never left the box <g>  The letter
becomes another part of the rare collectable set, proving that this was from
the initial production run.

Dick, you mean like in every single movie shown and scattered throughout
almost any magazine?
I thought it was a positive article on Leica, certainly.
One interesting snippet was the quoted 4000 letters of apology that went to
early M8 owners. That's a little insight into sales
figures.
