I'm happy with these pictures because they will keep for ever - at least for me - this old shop and nice people as you said, they have spend their lives in the trade. We, still "romantic" photographers we have the privilege to keep for our memmory such places on this changing world. Thank you very much for looking and for your comments Saludos desde Catalunya Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Philippe Amard Enviado el: s?bado, 15 de septiembre de 2007 8:22 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: Re: [Leica] Old "Estamperia Artigues" Luis, you have very aptly documented an extremely moving event - I hate "liquidacio" , particularly when it concerns old shops and people who have spent their lives in the trade. Your "characters" are brought live straight over here and one can feel a lot of human experience and feeling there; some kind of sadness on the part of the owners, some greed on the side of the crowds, but also their interest in art and pictures, they can't be that bad after if it is Art they want to buy ... Some very nice angles and reflexions. The kids also, they represent the future of Cataluna while their elders are sharing the remains of pictures of times past. I thank you deeply for the voyage through a liquidacio - moves me a lot, and the nostalia of better, but earlier, times is skin deep, only. Excellent work.!!
