Great to hear you're doing so well. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sonny Carter<mailto:sonc.hegr@gmail.com> To: Leica Users Group<mailto:lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Friday, September 14, 2007 5:09 PM Subject: [Leica] Friday Flowers and my knees Here's a Friday flower for you. Some of you have gotten it, but since it was relayed, it looks like not all did. http://www.sonc.com/friday_sept_14_2007.htm<http://www.sonc.com/friday_sept_14_2007.htm> I just arrived home from the hospital, sporting all new knees. I am doing really well, the surgery was incredibly successful, and I am (at this point) in far less pain than I was in Sunday. My activities will surely be limited while everything mends, but I had a great surgeon, excellent PT people, and a caring hospital staff. I had the surgery Monday, and today, I was climbing a short range of stairs and walked about 400 feet. Those things told the Physical Therapy people that I had passed, and they signed me off. I will have a couple weeks of PT at home, and then some rehab at a local center about six blocks away. I'm excited about the prospects of getting back into walking where and when I want. I think it is going to happen for sure. Thanks for all the well-wishing I've already received. -- Regards, Sonny http://www.sonc.com<http://www.sonc.com/> Natchitoches, Louisiana USA _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
