I'm sure it's a fine camera with wonderful and unique qualities. I'm sure it delivers what it advertises. The Canon's are also nice cameras. I was delighted when I bought the 10D, impressed with the upgrade to the 20D, and blown away by the full frame 5D with my R glass. Yet, the DMR left them all in the dust (literally on the shelf). And the M8, well, love at first blush. I'll keep watching for Leica killers and their RAW file qualities (the only way to compare what they're actually delivering). However, I'll be a hard convert. Like Doug; I love manual focus lenses and bright view finders. I've upgraded the 5D ground glass; yet it cannot hold a candle to the R8 viewfinder. And manually focusing the long canon IS zooms is a joke compared to the Leica manual focus long glass. Again - it's not Leica fanaticism. Just fact in my regular use and comparison of the equipment and their respective RAW files. YMMV.
