Alan,

That has been my experience as well.  Some spots on the old Kodachrome, but 
the color is still very good. In contrast, the old Ektachrome slides are 
more subject to spotting, and the color fades toward red, making it much 
more difficult to scan and edit.  Even Ansco and Agfa slides have held up 
better than the Ektachrome.
