I shall be very interested to read what others think on these, as well. The first works for me with the angle of your view and the lines of bow and arrow. As an archery enthusiast, I want to come on over and set him straight on technique though ;-) I'm not with you on the second. I don't see what the tree does for the picture. I don't see enough of what the boy is doing to grab my attention either? What was your thinking on the choice of having the background as the sharpest focus?
