My recovery from hip surgery continues to go well. One little secret  
that I tend to keep to myself is that I raise orchids. This White  
Phalanopsis bloomed while I was in the hospital having my surgery.  
Yes, I am Irish. Yes, I am a bit superstitious, and yes, I took it  
for a very good sign or omen. Yesterday, while the adults weren't  
paying attention, I was able to pick up my camera for the first time  
since my surgery. Here's the result.
