Haven't shot Velvia 100, but most of my color panoramic pics are shot 
in Astia 100F. It definitely is low contrast but very accurate 
colors. A little photoshop work brings out the contrast nicely though 
so I like the film a lot.

With photoshop, it's easy to Velvia-fy something if that's what you 
like (I don't), but de-Velviafying lose much in the process. YMMV.
