All war is horror and waste and death and destruction on a terrible scale. Without meaning to be overtly political, one strength of western democracies is that this article was published without fear and every citizen may question and judge their country's actions. I think that the terrible mass killing and brutal oppression that existed before the allied invasion of Iraq should also be acknowledged.
