 I was at the local camera store picking up a waterproof camera case and the 
salesman showed me a brochure that just come in from Leica USA for an 
adaptor to mount Leica R lenses on an M8.
 
The price, you ask?
 
$1,800 US when purchased along with certain listed R Lenses. Price includes 
you're choice of one of two offered Leica binoculars.
