[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Hi Bob, Congratulations for these excellent Noctliux pictures, a really good use with excelent focusing, I think this very difficult, even with the magnifier 1,25x, I own one too but I don't use very much, IMO is no really different the precision of focusing and you loss somme brillance on the viewfinder, myself I find difficult focus at 1,4. Last, but not least..., please don't post any more Noctilux pictures..., it is so nice and a every time I see I desire to have one! I used the 1.25x magnifier. The throw on the lens is so long that it seems important to guess the distance and pre-focus (somewhere near the right focus) before lifting the camera to my eye, so that the subject does not get distracted and stare at me, like what happened in 3722 (which is also the only one not at f/1). You may recall that I adjusted the focus cam to eliminate back focus, and I think it is successful. So, what do you think? Should I keep it, or sell it?
