Frank you have to ask yourself, I already have a splendid f4 28 and I REALLY
would like a faster one as well.
You can certainly take advantage of the lower light performance and the very
compact lens for handling.
There's only one place that path leads (apart from into debt) you NEED the
summicron f2 28 asph

Cheers
Hoppy

I went searching for the lens today, without luck. Then I thought to
myself... but you already have a 3E, which is a fabulous lens with a 28
built in, but at F4.

Is it worth owning another lens for a lousy 1 stop advantage? I thought so
for the 35 and 50mm lenses I own.....

Still thinking this one out......
