Sonny, I'm just back from holidays and wading through my LUG backlog.
This shot is gorgeous and you have done a great job of combining the
exposures. You seem to have unearthed the holy grail of dynamic
range there.
Cheers
Hoppy

I don't do too much landscape photography, unless it has water. This
one was shot for an upcoming issue of Louisiana Life Magazine, and while I
oughta wait, I just couldn't.

Processing it, I used RAW and lightroom, with two exposures from the same
frame, first for the sky, exported it, then processed it for the foliage
and exported it.

Opening them in photoshop, I placed one on top of the other as a layer,
erased the too dark foliage and, well, here it is.

I assure you that the print is pretty damn nice too, and I did not make too
many pains with it.

I'm gonna print it with some nice rag paper.
