Subject: [Leica] M8 back from NJ clinic

Just FYI for those with loved ones in the clinic:
        Sick one sent to NJ 5/22
        Half a dozen + phone calls begging for status report; and begging  
for a loaner - without getting any information or a loaner.
        Half of those calls were returned - thankfully
        last returned call on Friday, "your camera will be shipped  
"overnight" on Monday
        Arrived home today 6/26

Took one (first) test image with new Leica IR/UV filter on coded 50  
1.4 asph in mixed fluorescent/tungsten interior office light. I'm  
quite impressed with auto white balance with this combination.

Hard to express how good it feels to have this camera (as close to my  
digital, photographic, holy grail as available today) back in my hands.
