She's right, you know.  I was hesitating to suggest you change software
if you're using something comfortable, but if you're already using
Lightroom -- which I find makes my basic photo editing and tweaking
tasks significantly quicker and easier than the Bridge/Camera
Raw/Photoshop lashup, which wasn't that bad -- it's a no-brainer.  Just
start using DNG instead of jpeg, and you'll hardly notice the
difference, except your pictures will look better and the files will be
a bit bigger.

DRINK the Kool-Aid.
