Graham - I disagree, your photos stack up against any landscapes I  
have seen, they tell the story of your Shire, the work you have done  
is very important - you really should publish.  I for one would like  
to have a copy.  It does not have to be elaborate, but it could be a  
perfect coffee table book if a publisher sees the GeeBee light.
