Subject: [Leica] Report of M8 Base Failure

I am using my m8 exclusively from the tripod mount with a pistol grip 
attached, due to the broken arm.  No indication of a crack, or loosness 
noticed at all, and it is used vertically quite a bit along with 
horizontally.
