If you make t he decision to go with metal frames, and you can get access to 
the DIY style, then your options are good.

The DIY frames we have here are available in lengths from a few inches to 
30+ inches, in 1 inch increments.  You pick out lengths in
packages of 2: Frame width and length.  They run around $10-15 per set of 2 
for fairly large frames.  Total is $20-30 per frame.

Black or silver is traditional, but there are about a zillion colors 
available.....and quite a few profiles.
