They eventually cancelled the order, turning the item into a repair part. Oh yeah, the outcome was to almost tripled the cost of the newly re-designated carrier, which was still unavailable. Previously, I've waited 9 months to well over a year for simple fixes from them. Mind you, if New Jersey can fix it, it's usually done within a tolerable time frame. However, when it goes to Solms, it becomes a twilight zone experience. Tears from me about Leica, hardly. Any business deserves whatever outcome its behavior generates.
