Hi Tom,

There may not be a need for the upgrade then.  I was shooting a Nikon D2H 
when I had the upgrade done to my MZ-3.  Had to get my Nikon SCA's upgraded 
to for iTTL.  If there is no difference between the M6 / M7 / M8 flash 
technology, it may not be an issue.  Not having an M8, I haven't looked into 
the flash capabilities / requirements.

Again, give the folks at Bogen USA a call.  The people I always end up 
talking to about Metz are named Kevin and Jeff.  They're very helpful and 
extremely knowledgeable about what Metz flashes will work with what flashes 
& SCA's.

I haven't seen the USB upgradeable flash.  Is it on their website?  What 
models?
