Maybe someone can educate me. The Eizo monitors indicate 14 and 16
bit processing, but 10 and 12 bit color calibration, respectively.
What is the difference?

The LaCie indicates 12 bit Gamut correction. Perhaps then the $1600
LaCie is more comparable to the $2800 eizo than the $1200 Eizo,
representing a better value.
