Jerry,

Lucas isn't dead, just hiding in other places.  I drive a 2000 Cadillac 
Catera which is a rebadged Opel, and it has a lot of Lucas electrical 
components as well as a peppy 3-liter British V-6 of 200 hp.  I just wish 
the steering was as good as the rack and pinion setup of the wife's old 
Volvo 740 wagon.
