My M8 experience, mine and two loaners, has been perfect. No problems
with any of them. On the other hand, I would never go on a trip or
assignment without a backup. Right now, my backup is a Canon 5D. I
would much rather have another M8 except for those situations when I
need close-up or telephoto lenses. I used to spend months in Central
America with nothing but a couple of M6's so I'm sure if I had a
couple of M8's I could do the same. With digital you do have to be
more careful so I couldn't dip them in the river to clean them like I
could with my M6's =-O Anybody want to buy some M6's? :-)

Don't ever travel without at least one backup camera!!
