After being hex wrenched (using a Noctilux) the M8 seems to just shine with a Summicron. Here is a close portrait with a 28mm Summicron-M, at f/2, 1/24s http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rjrose/focus/L1001517.jpg.html Also, note that in this type of scene there is no issue with cyan at the edges and the IR filter. I may never take this lens off the camera. I was happy with the M8 when I first got it, but I never got images this sharp until I twiddled the focus adjustment. Actually, I don't think I realized what was possible with this camera. So, I am wondering whether everyone's M8 could benefit from some sort of "hexing."
