Subject: [Leica] IMG: 28mm With IR Filter and Hex Wrenched M8

The proof is in the pudding. After being hex wrenched (using a Noctilux)
the M8 seems to just shine with a Summicron.

Here is a close portrait with a 28mm Summicron-M, at f/2, 1/24s

Also, note that in this type of scene there is no issue with cyan at the
edges and the IR filter.

I may never take this lens off the camera.

I was happy with the M8 when I first got it, but I never got images this
sharp until I twiddled the focus adjustment. Actually, I don't think I
realized what was possible with this camera. So, I am wondering whether
everyone's M8 could benefit from some sort of "hexing."

Cheers,
Bob Rose
