Len,

Brian Bower in 1997 in his book 'Leica Reflex Photography' wrote that the 
2.0 Extender would only not work with the 50/1.4 and 80/1.4 Summilux lenses, 
in addition to the aforementioned SL2 and earlier camera's. He also states 
that the 2.0 Extender works with the 180/3.4 lens of ten years ago. Doug 
Herr will have forgotten more then I know about these accessories.
