Well...digital is still a young technology, and I think it would be improved
on certain aspects, i.e. the format, I want continue using a 35mm as a 35mm
etc.., I don't want to think at resolutions every time I'm shooting, I want
reach always the best quality, why I want a digital if I enjoy 99% of my
work on B&W?, a film seem to me more solid and sure than a digital storage
that I want keep for years, more than 30 years actually estimated, I'm only
63!

Saludos and salud!

Good man, Luis. You stay strong and keep using film. Don't let the evil
digital empire tempt you.
Cheers
Hoppy

Thanks for your answer Don, but I'm not very attracted for the digital way,
even so it's interesting cumulating knowledge.

Saludos cordiales

Luis,
Yes, the Kodak chip in the M8 is not especially clean at ISO's over 320. It
doesn't especially bother me as I have just recently come from film and
grain over 400 is expected. However, if it offended me, there are some
pretty sophisticated programs that will eliminate the grain at a not very
large loss of sharpness. NIK software demonstrated some pretty wonderful
software that allowed a very large degree of control in sharpening and
reducing noise in a very good workflow.

Thanks for commenting. If you purchased the M8 you would not find the noise
a problem, the choice to keep or remove is there.
