Tourist trap might be a little harsh. One can spend all of their time in the
French Quarter. Or, like Wade Heninger did when he was down here at a
conference, you can set out in the opposite direction, cross Canal Street,
and photograph the business district and warehouse district.

I agree that you cannot make me want to go. To me, all this seemingly forced
jollity and play and Mardi Gras does not ring true - it looks,feels and
smells like a tourist trap. Maybe I,m right and maybe wrong.... Cheers
