In the past 12 months, I have acquired 2 medium format outfits: a Hasselblad 501CM with 50mm, 80mm and 150mm lenses, and a Bronica 645 rangefinder with the 45mm, 65mm and 100mm lenses. The total price of the Hassy kit was a bit under $1000; the Bronica outfit was a bit more, but only because the 100mm lens is rare and hard to find. The used photo equipment fair I attended last weekend was awash with Hasselblad and other MF gear.
