There seem to be lots of "old school" physicians who are afraid to treat for pain. It doesn't have to be that way. I've been talking with lots of people who have had knee replacements and heard some real horror stories about how pain wasn't properly treated. If there are issues with pain management now they need to be resolved. I'm NOT a medical doctor (or any other kind for that matter) but I know that there have been huge changes in this area. Good luck I will wish you well Adam On 2/18/07, Daniel Ridings <dlridings@gmail.com> wrote: > On 2/18/07, Don Dory <don.dory@gmail.com> wrote: > > Daniel, > > Truly, tell your wife no worries other than a lot of physical therapy. > > Do > > find a specialist who only does hips, possibly a clinic in Chicago as I > > don't think your part of the world allows that. > > Oh, we have that (H?ssleholm is a specialist clinic). > > But it is a pretty big "cut". > > She's worried about the age thing.
