The best deal I ever got was a bulk purchase for a collection, single owner,
decent condition:

1. 2 X Leica IIIf with 50mm Summitars
2. 2 X Leica M3 with 50mm f3.5 Elmars
3. One each of 50mm Summicron (first gen), 50mm Summarit, 35mm
f3.5Summaron, 135mm Hektor and a 90mm LTM Elmar.
4. Rollei 35S
5. Nikon F (meter working!), with 50mm f1.4, 55mm micro with extension tube,
105mm f2.5, 200mm f4 and a Vivitar 135mm.

I had to get a CLA on the bodies, and have the lenses cleaned out, but that
is not expensive here. The only things I sold was a IIIf set (in exchange
for a Canon 7 with 50mm f1.4), and the summicron & summarit lenses (too
scratched). I paid around US$2100 for the whole bunch.

The other purchase that I thought was a bargain was for a Rollei TLR
2.8Ewith ugly cosmetics, but very good working condition for US$100.

Second hand stuff is quite cheap here, but one always has to look carefully
at the condition, as a lot of these cameras would not have been used for
10-20 years.

Cheers
Jayanand
