I guess I do not get it..... The "reply" or "reply to all" seems pretty
obvious. Why does one way seemingly cut down on traffic?
I think that was the goal? Or did my delete trigger finger get too uneasy?

In the "old days", if you wish to reply to only one person, it is easy
enough to do, and assuming you do remember to do it right, it
works fine. You just need to remember. Otherwise you get embarrassed from
some wisecrack you make and it appears for all of us to
see. ( Eric, are you still out there?)

The new way is a problem from the aspect that if you are one that will get a
lot of responses, the "reply to all" will get you 2
emails from each reply sent your way, unless the user removes a name from
the "to" area.

I have several emails lists that do it each way, and to be honest, it is
more the matter of remembering which list does what that
has me making mistakes.

I have a preference for the "old way". I rarely want to copy one member,
and mostly wish to copy all of you.

Is it a big deal? Nope.
