Thanks, Len. I shot quite a bit with that lens in that location. Bright 
sunshine, scenic location Leica glass and Velvia. What more
could you ask? The difference in the apparent falloff really is interesting 
as the taking angle and conditions vary, isn't it? I had
a secret weapon too. I used a monopod to try to extract the best performance 
I could, without tripod mounting. Anathema to M users,
I know. I found though, for that walkaround location it was no problem at 
all to carry and use. Still I'm not afraid to blaspheme
regarding the Leica holy writ. Heck I even like colour (as you've seen).

This is simply a beautiful, well composed photo. From my eye there is  
no vignetting. period.
