When I power up my wifes notebook or mine I can see several networks on the wireless and mine is the only one with security enabled. And Tina...as far as range, my wireless is not too reliable downstairs. The stuff does not go too well through walls and the like the range is not too far. You can get a range expander, but once again it is good for only so far.
