Steve.. my suggestion will only work for the outer ring, the one that 
touches he rubberized surface.  After that, you are not going
to get any results from my input.  Internal rings are a totally different 
affair, and I have no idea.....

thanks Frank , I will try it... though I believe the part/lens that  
was turning is inset, and below the level of the edge...which does  
not turn. Steve
