Getting slightly OT but when Nikon came out with the Coolpix 5000, allot of 
pros ended up buying it because it had allot of pro 
custom features and it was a good studio "P&S". Nikon did a demo for Nikon 
Professionals during Mardi Gras that year with the 
5000.That's when the dSLR's were still above $2000. Nikon then came out with 
the 5400 and dropped some of the "pro-like" features 
while also dropping dSLR prices. Imagine that. :)
