Jeffery,
I have had good luck with Xtol at 1:3.  By it's very nature Agfa 400 is
pretty grainy but it has a very nice tonal scale.  I haven't shot much as it
is very hard to find and I cleaned out the Atlanta supplies over a year ago.

My advice is to use 777 and live with the grain.
