Hi Adam,

The beauty of the SF20 and SF24D is the small size which fits in with  
the form of the Leica M. Now if you want a full featured flash get  
something like the Metz 54 MZ-4 with the SCA 3502 adapter for Leica.  
Look into it and other Metz flash units that use the SCA system. The  
54 has full head tilt   and other neat features but it is a much  
larger unit then the leica flash. Kinda overpowers the M bodies in my  
view.

The SCA adapter makes it a dedicated flash. I also have adapters for  
Nikon and Canon. Neat system.
