I think that most of the noise problem and noise reduction problem comes
when you don't shoot raw. I'm going to wait and see what the new Fuji P&S
looks like. They seem to have the best sensor for eliminating noise (i.e., I
hope they aren't eliminating it with software).

Jeffery, I had the panasonic version one and then i got the leica version2
from popflash. it is the ultimate pocket camera and like any other tool,
once you use it right, all is well. i have 11x14 images from the d-lux 3
looking just wonderful. if i shoot high iso, i usually use a noise reduction
software and all is well.
