Certainly the price of R glass is pretty cheap ( compared with M 
glass..)....It would be a reason if you  are an R user to go
Canon.....

But do you get auto-aperture or is this a manual iris lens combo  ( R glass 
on Canon Body with some adapter)?

The down side is can't use my R glass on it.  Otherwise I like the D200, but 
not AF, as it never wants to focus where I want it to
when focussing on birds in trees.
