Tina,

It might be time for you to look into a Hot Mirror Filter if you  
haven't already. Unfortunately there seems to be an unexplained  
shortage of those sizes most common to Leica lenses. I figured if I  
wanted a filter for my 50 Summicron I'd need 3 different step up  
rings, piggy-backed, and a 62mm or 67mm filter. Best bet would be to  
hit up Leica for filters.
