Steve,

Maybe I have too much time on my hands now that I'm retired. When I
go out to shoot I frequently take a digital and a film camera. I
certainly don't begrudge you of an artistic tool. Go for it. I just
feel differently about the two medians. I must confess I just set up
my darkroom again after not having one for over 20 years. I miss the
look of true analog for those special images. Just old fahioned. And
old as well. 8>)

Even though I can take B&W digital in camera images, I've never been
happy with the outcome. They always seem to lack depth. I had a B&W
13x19 print made from a digital image on the wall in my dining room.
I took it down two weeks ago because I didn't like the look. I went
out and tried to duplicate the same scene in film. I haven't printed
it yet. But I won't fault anybody from posting B&W digital.

Happy shooting,
Len
