  the room was dark... with a very warm and unusual red brown light  
coming from the old adobe brick walls...

this color, not normal I agree, but which I don't consider offensive,  
may be close to the "natural" color there... so I would not be too  
quick to blame Pentax,  rather you can blame me or perhaps say,  
"that's the way it really was...".

maybe I should take some photos of the room and of the walls...

it's a whole new spin on the word adobe...
