Subject: [Leica] M8: "I think it's gonna be all right"

M8 users over on the Leica User Forum are showing some very good
results. The initial flurry of indignation surrounding the earlier
than expected release of a new but imperfect invention seems to have
settled. Folks are getting down to business, working out how to use
this new thing, what makes it tick, no longer expecting the
unachievable - i.e. that a fantastically complex electro/optical/
mechanical device that sits in the palm of your hand can somehow
manage to be all things to all people, straight off the bat.

Making good photographs requires persistence and patience. Making
the most from a camera system is the same. Those who approach the M8
with curiosity, interest, patience and persistence will do well with it.

Regards, Rick.
