Subject: [Leica] Sonny's M5

I rarely use the 50/1.2 Hexanon and the 35/1.2 Nokton simply because of
their size. But yesterday I handled an Olympus E-1 with lens, and it makes
those rf lenses seem much smaller.

Sonny sold his Noctilux? I thought we would have to pry it off his cold,

It seems from this thread that I have sold out, but I assure you I still
own
six M lenses, a VC converted to M, and four Leica R lenses, an M7 and an
R8.

I used the Noctilux for a year, and shot very few pictures with it. The
ones I got were eye-poppers, but since Jeffery has all the 50mm DNA in
Louisiana, and it was hard for me to love the focal length, I sold the lens
to someone
I am assured will use it.

My heart is still pitter-patting over an M8, but I want to know more about
this battery thing. All other issues seem surmountable, but I have been
spoiled by the Pentax digitals that get 800 pictures on a set of batteries.

Stay tuned.
.
