No wuckers! I scratched my head a few times until I found out about the file
locations.
Cheers

That worked Hoppy - Thanks!! You're right about the wrong folder. The
filename "CameraRaw.8bi" ended up in a temp file instead of C:/Program
Files/Common Files/Adobe/CS2/FileFormats. Damn - trying to drill down to
find the correct folder is a real PITA and some programmers ought to be made
to go to bed without dinner for this little feature. Thanks again Hoppy.

Bill, assuming you have CS2, you need to download Camera Raw 3.6 update from
Adobe updates. Follow the instructions on where to put the unzipped files.
Restart PSCS2, try opening an M8 DNG again and tell me how you go.

Ok, I did the update but no joy - where is the wrong folder and where should
they actually go?

TIA

Bill, I can read them now but had trouble initially. However, try updating
the RAW converter. Also note that it does not go in the right folder
automatically!

Is anybody else having problems with M8 dng files not being read by CS2?
Mine are viewable in Adobe Bridge but they are not editable in CS2. They
also can't be viewed in Picassa2.
