Peter, I like the colour version very much. For my personal taste the bw is 
a little flat, due to the grey versions of the subtle
Quite an unusual subject, I never seen a frozen flower before. They look 
almost like a cake decoration. I bet it would be
spectacular if there was some specular lighting on the ice crystals. Or 
would that be almost literally gilding the lily?

After a summer which has lasted until now, pretty much we are now getting 
first frosts. The result is this..

The blue cast is in large part due to the fact that the flower was in deep 

The B&W version of the same; which took quite a bit of manipulation:

ignore the exif date; it's wrong!
